Our Mission
We believe that great food starts with great ingredients. Mediterranean Organic Farms was founded with one simple mission: to bring the world's finest extra virgin olive oils — produced with time-honored methods across Albania, Greece, and Italy — directly to the families of Northern Virginia. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just pure, authentic olive oil.
How It Started
Growing up surrounded by the flavors and traditions of the Mediterranean, our founder developed a deep appreciation for the role that olive oil plays in daily life — not just as an ingredient, but as a symbol of health, culture, and hospitality.
After moving to Northern Virginia, the search for that same quality proved difficult. So we decided to bring it ourselves — forging direct relationships with family farms in Albania, Greece, and Italy to deliver exceptional oils to the Fairfax community.
The Harvest
Our oils come from groves where olives are still harvested by hand — a labor-intensive practice that protects the fruit from bruising and ensures the highest quality product. Cold-press extraction happens within hours of harvest to lock in freshness.
The result is an oil with vibrant color, complex aroma, and a flavor profile that supermarket oils simply cannot match. Once you taste the difference, there's no going back.
